The Commonwealth Scientific Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) and the Monash Institute of Medical Engineering (MIME) are co-hosting the first International Conference on Medical 3D Printing in Melbourne in 2018. The meeting will bring together clinicians, scientists, industry representatives and regulators and will explore the latest techniques and applications of polymer, metal, composite and bio-3D printing for medical uses. Regulatory issues and business models and 3D printing for simulation in education will also be presented.

International and Australian leaders in the field will converge on the magnificent Melbourne Convention Centre. In addition to hearing from global leaders there will be opportunities to present both orally or in poster format and there will be a commercial exhibition. An experienced Scientific Committee is chaired by Professor Laurence Meagher of the Monash Institute of Medical Engineering, Monash University.
